The flooring above the underground car park required a completely bespoke approach from the MERO-SCHMIDLIN design team. The expertise in design, manufacture, product selection and installation from the Camberley based specialists was used to full effect with 100mm HD insulated sub floor build up with the normal concrete replaced with Calcium Sulphate Hollow Floor laid over the insulation. 250m2 of Calcium Sulphate Raised Access Floor panels were installed with factory bonded Strata porcelain tile within the entrance lobby. The whole Raised Access Floor System required extensive bridging and was also required to meet exacting air tight standards as the system forms a Plenum for ventilation purposes. To meet the clients strict procurement criteria MERO-SCHMIDLIN products were subject to a Full FSC chain of custody.
